Brief: To design a piece of office furniture that could respond to the increasing flexibility and mobilisation of our working environment.

The Micro Office is a dynamic, flexible working system designed to liberate the worker from their fixed desk. All function and movement pivots around the user, responding to their changing needs and ensuring that they can make the most of mobile technology.

The final design is a minimalist steel frame with a fibre-glass seat and mobile, adjustable panels attached at different heights to support a variety of possible uses. Set on casters to allow freedom of movement and sprayed a vibrant red, in action the Micro Office becomes an extension of the user, bringing colour and animation to their workplace.
